Luigi Gangitano, Civil Engineer, is the technical director of the company since 1994. For the CDG he has performed consultancy services, design, constructions supervision and acceptance of works. He has been project manager in behalf of clients (such as ANAS, Ferrovie S.p.a.) and construction companies of national importance (Impregilo, Pontello, FiatEngineering, Sacaim).

He is author of some scientific papers published in national journals (L’Acqua) and in the proceedings of national and international conferences (A.G.I. and ICOLD) that illustrate some professional experiences of technical merit.

He holds membership in the following associations: A.I.I. (Associazione Idrotecnica Italiana), A.G.I. (Associazione Geotecnica Italiana) and I.G.S. (International Geosintetics Society).

He is currently member of the commissions for European tenders issued by Regione Siciliana as expert in hydraulics, road construction and geotechnics.



Ignazio Cavarretta, PhD, DIC, Ing., founder of the company, currently based in UK, where he serves as senior lecturer of Geotechnical Engineering and Infrastructure at the University of Surrey (UK), As an academic committed in research and teaching civil engineering subjects in a primary UK university, he is keen to cooperate with industrial firms or accredited institutions in the public and private sector in order to develop research projects including Engineering Doctorate schemes and research consortia. From this perspective CDG offers a unique opportunity to support undergraduate as well postgraduate education through international exchange of knowledge and skills.
